We check your boiler’s output and find the existing pipework.

We drain the system and run pipework to the new position if needed.

We hang the radiator on secure brackets, connect it and fit TRVs if you’d like them.
Refill & test
We refill, bleed and test every radiator’s heat output.
Leave it tidy
We re-lay flooring and clear up every bit of debris.

How long does radiator installation take?
It depends on how many radiators you’re fitting and where. A like-for-like swap is usually quick. We’ll give you a timescale with your quote.
Can a plumber install a radiator?
Yes, but any work that affects your boiler needs a Gas Safe registered engineer, and all of ours are.
Can you put a radiator in a conservatory?
Connecting a conservatory to your central heating brings it under building regulations, because it’s then treated as an extension. We’ll advise on the best option for your home.
What are thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs)?
TRVs control each radiator individually by adjusting the flow of hot water through it, so you only heat the rooms you’re using.
Will extra radiators affect my boiler?
Sometimes. If you’re adding radiators, your boiler needs enough output to cope. We’ll check this as part of your quote.
