For another year, RJ Martindale and our sister company BHE are giving away a free boiler service, worth £108 each, to 10 people aged 75 and over.
We’re doing it to support Gas Safety Week 2026, the annual awareness week run by the Gas Safe Register. It’s all about the importance of staying safe with gas appliances like boilers and gas fires.
Who can you nominate?
Anyone aged 75 or over: yourself, a friend, a relative or a neighbour. You can submit more than one nomination. The property must be in one of these areas:
- Wigan
- Leigh
- Lancaster
- Morecambe
- Bolton
- Horwich
- Chorley
- Preston
Nominations closed at 11.59pm on 21 September 2026, and we’ll be in touch with our 10 winners shortly.
What happens next?
Our Gas Safe registered engineers will carry out a thorough boiler service for each winner, making sure the appliance is safe and in good working order. RJ Martindale and BHE have years of experience working with older and vulnerable customers, and a strong reputation for respecting people’s homes.
